These adorable bloomers combine comfort with a romantic gothic vibe.

The high-waisted cut accentuates the waist, but thanks to the adjustable ribbon at the waist, you can easily adjust the height to your preference – wear them traditionally or lower the waist by choosing a larger size for a more relaxed, dropped effect.

The shorts are adorned with frills that gently fall around the thighs, adding lightness and a slightly Victorian touch. To enhance this effect, satin ribbons are applied at the hems, allowing you to adjust the width of the leg openings.

These shorts are a great base for summer outfits. You can wear them solo for a light and breezy look on hot days or pair them under loose dresses to create a layered effect.

Pair them with an oversized blouse or grunge-style t-shirt for a striking ensemble perfect for a concert or gathering with friends.

They also work beautifully in romantic goth-inspired styles – just add a lace top and fishnets.

Combine them with a loose, long top in a dark academia style – like a turtleneck or the Freya blouse with lace at the neckline. By pairing it with the shorts, you'll create an interesting contrast between the feminine cut and the dark, intellectual vibe. Complete the outfit with classic black pumps or elegant ankle boots with a low heel.

As for the name, it was suggested by our customer Karolina, who explained her idea this way:

"Liberté – freedom in French, as bloomers were meant to give women more freedom and were named after a feminist activist from the 19th century. And why in French? Because the number of frills reminds me of the French bourgeoisie attire, and I totally see Marie-Antoinette wearing these white bloomers, cosplaying life in the countryside." – and we totally agree.
